OUR VOLUNTEER OF THE MONTH:
Makenna Bear, senior at CSARTS in San Gabriel, started Cleo’s Critter Club during her freshman year, and holds regular fundraisers on behalf of Cleo’s Critter Care. The Critter Club has raised over $1,000 each year to support Cleo’s Critter Care and are building awareness for the plight of our urban wildlife at their high school.

Makenna also volunteers at Cleo's Critter Care where she helps care for injured and orphaned animals, providing feedings, cleaning enclosures, and offering the compassion every creature deserves. In the video below, Makenna does an intake of a Great Horned Owl and Cleos' Critter Care transports it to the San Dimas Raptor Center, a licensed wildlife rehabilitator.
Thank you Makenna, we are so grateful for your support!
